Electrical resistance welding is an important part of welding. So called spot welding is the well-known type of resistance welding. Welding process during which a weld seam is made at the joint of the welded materials between the welding electrodes' surfaces. The weld (spot) being produced is approximately of a similar size as the area of the electrode ends. Pressure in the electrodes acts during the process when producing the spot. Welding is possible either directly or indirectly using conductive pads.
